Rubber Ducky Race and Carnival - 2005

The "Professional Duck Wranglers" releasing the duckies
It's just an ordinary rubber ducky in a VERY large bathtub -- the 7 1/2-mile-long Big Bear Lake, CA.
But this ducky is with over 2,000 of his closest friends, and any one of them could make someone a THOUSAND DOLLARS richer. Each year, they "race" across the most grueling 50 yards of the bathtub/lake. This annual event offers valuable prizes to the the holders of "Adopt-a-Ducky" ticket corresponding in number to the winning duckies. The race and carnival are held annually at Meadow Park Swim Beach, in cooperation with the Big Bear Valley Recreation and Parks Department.
